These terms are written so every Muslim can understand them. QuraLYT is built on trust, transparency, and respect for the Ummah. We believe legal documents should be clear rather than confusing. If anything here is unclear, contact us and we will explain it plainly. By downloading or using QuraLYT, you agree to these terms.

The Free Forever
Promise.

A promise to Allah first

"The core of QuraLYT will remain free for every Muslim, forever. This is not a marketing decision. It is an intention made for the sake of Allah and a sadaqah jariyah that we pray continues to benefit people long after we are gone."

"While optional Pro and Elite tiers may be introduced in the future to support development and provide additional services, they will never remove or restrict what has already been promised as part of the free Core experience."

What is collected for an account
Only your email address and account credentials required to provide cloud sync services.
What cloud sync stores
Bookmarks, reading progress, preferences, and supported app settings, synchronized across your devices.
What is never done with your account data
Your information is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used for advertising or behavioural profiling.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time by emailing info@lytdesign.com. Associated cloud data will be permanently removed.

Owned trademarks and brands
The following names and products are intellectual property of LYTDesign™: QuraLYT™, TrackLYT™, LYTFocus™, LYTTouch™, LYTSnap™, LYTGrid™, QLES™, QLIS™, and related products, themes, visual systems, icons, and brand assets.
Themes, guides, and design assets
All QuraLYT themes, illustrated Surah artwork, Islamic guides, educational content, and original design assets are owned by LYTDesign™.
No copying or redistribution
You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from QuraLYT without written permission.

Third Party
Content.

Quranic text
The Arabic Quran text is sourced from trusted and verified Uthmani script sources. The Quran belongs to the Ummah and we do not claim ownership of the sacred text.
Translations
Translations are provided from recognized scholars and publishers. Attribution is given where required. Translations are interpretations of meaning and not the Quran itself.
Recitations
Recitations are provided by credited reciters and approved sources. We do not claim ownership of any recitation recordings.
App store platforms
QuraLYT is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Any data collected by these platforms is governed by their own policies and not by QuraLYT.

Responsibilities.

Use QuraLYT with respect
Use QuraLYT with respect for the Quran, its teachings, and the Muslim community.
QuraLYT is not a religious authority
QuraLYT is a reading and learning platform. It does not provide fatwas, religious rulings, or scholarly verdicts.
No reverse engineering or misuse
Do not misuse, copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of QuraLYT without permission.
Account security
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and confidential.

Disclaimer &
Limitation of Liability.

App availability
We strive to keep QuraLYT available and functioning properly, but uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, LYTDesign™ is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of QuraLYT.
Service continuity
Our intention is for QuraLYT to remain available long term. If the service is ever discontinued, reasonable notice will be provided where possible.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

Consumer rights: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under Norwegian or EEA consumer protection law.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway and applicable GDPR regulations.
